Breathing techniques help calm the mind and help heal parts of our body.  Using intentional breath and mudras (symbolic gesture to help facilitate the flow of energy) to transmute imbalanced energies in the body can pave the way for optimal well-being. 

As a Mantra (a word or sound used to aid concentration and meditation) we can use; I (Inhale). Am (Exhale). Here (Inhale). Now (Exhale). In (Inhale). This (Exhale). Or, what you feel resonates with you. This is a great tool to keep us in the present moment and lessen unnecessary thoughts about the past and unknown future situations.  We have the chance now to change our thought patterns and help ourselves heal if we sit in stillness for a couple minutes and listen to our innate wisdom.
